In a room over fifty meters long and wide, and more than ten meters high, dozens of Bronze Lamp Posts burned quietly as always, casting dim light.
At the center of the room, behind a Bone Table as smooth as ivory, sat a man wearing a multicolored ring. Numerous documents lay across the table's surface, and the man was examining them one by one.
After he had read for some time, a small door in the wall opened with a creak. A fat figure quickly strode inside.
The man behind the Bone Table noticed him. He set down the document he had been reading and gently raised his head to look at the approaching figure.
"Ge Luofu, is something wrong?" the man asked.
Ge Luofu, the fat man who had entered, stopped and struggled to bow. He respectfully reported, "My lord, do you remember that more than three months ago, you ordered me to revive Qiekafu? The revival failed at the time because people from the Divine Kingdom intervened. They were repairing Qiekafu's soul. You told me to have him contact you immediately once his soul had been repaired."
The man's brows lifted as he guessed at a possibility. "So Qiekafu's soul has already been repaired? That was rather fast. They said it might take four months."
