The four-story Stone Tower of the Affairs Office stood there. People streamed in and out of the entrance, and quite a few Wizards came here to handle business.
In a room on the first floor, Inogova found two different documents on the desk and pushed them in front of Richard. "Wizard Richard, the document on the left certifies that you are temporarily giving up your current residence. The one on the right certifies that you retain priority in choosing a residence in the future. The places for your signature are at the very end. You can read them carefully."
"No need." Richard smiled. He picked up the Goose Feather Quill from the pen holder beside him, dipped it in ink, and quickly signed his name at the end of both documents.
He set down the pen, pushed the two documents back in front of Inogova, and looked at her. "Is there anything else I need to do now?"
"Just one final step remains. You need to have them reviewed by Long Mei Er Supervisor." As she spoke, Inogova picked up the two documents, walked out from behind the desk, and headed for the door. "Come on, I'll take you there."
"Alright." Richard did not refuse and stepped after her.
"Tap, tap, tap..."
Accompanied by the sound of footsteps, the two arrived on the second floor.
Inogova stopped outside a room at the end of the second-floor corridor and knocked on the door.
"Knock, knock, knock..."
"Come in." Long Mei Er's distinctive voice came from inside.
With a creak, Inogova pushed open the door and led Richard in. Behind a broad desk inside, Long Mei Er was seated upright.
Inogova walked closer, leaned toward Long Mei Er, and quickly whispered an
