Just as Richard was gravely wounded and about to be killed by Dead Sea, he blinked.

Richard's body faded again, like a pencil drawing being erased. In the blink of an eye, he vanished from Dead Sea's sight once more.

Dead Sea narrowed his eyes and swiftly scanned the surroundings. Yet unlike last time, he failed to quickly pinpoint where Richard would reappear. Only after more than ten seconds did he sense something and look toward the air several hundred meters away.
Several hundred meters away, Richard's body reappeared. The injuries Dead Sea had inflicted had completely vanished, though his face was somewhat pale. This was the price of using the Void Transfer Spell.
The Void Transfer Spell differed from the Void Evasion Spell. The latter increased one's speed to dodge, while the former fused the body with void energy, allowing one to evade nearly all attacks with immunity. As Richard appeared, Dead Sea locked onto him again and said with some realization, "So you let part of your body slip into the void. No wonder you could negate my damage. But considering the erosion of void energy, this is really just equivalent to spreading the damage across the rest of your life. Let's see how long you can last on this ability alone."
As soon as he finished speaking, Dead Sea sprang forward and rapidly closed in on Richard.
