"Phew—"
Molly took a deep breath, steadied herself, and looked at Richard. "There's no problem with what you chose. You can take it. We have no objections."
"Good. Then let's divide up the rest." Richard pointed at a pile of white, sand-like material. "I want this. You can choose the others."
Choose the others?
After obtaining the Energy Furnace, Molly did not care much about the remaining gains. After thinking for a moment, she casually pointed at a damaged bracelet. "I'll take this."
"Fine, then I'll take this." Richard pointed at another pile of black pebbles.
"I'll take this." Molly pointed at a broken staff.
"I'll take this..."
A few minutes later, Richard and Molly had divided up everything that remained. Most of what Richard chose were spell materials of unknown use, while Molly mostly took damaged spell tools.
After making their selections, Molly looked at Richard with gleaming eyes and asked, "What do we do next?"
"Aren't we leaving?" Richard asked back in confusion. "Wasn't that what you suggested just now?"
"Uh..." Molly was slightly embarrassed, but her vigilance continued to rise. The more normal Richard acted, the more something felt wrong to her, and the more she felt that Richard might attack at any moment.
It has to be like this. It has to be...
With that thought, Molly led her subordinates as they slowly turned around and walked toward the exit of the ruins.
The next moment, an explosive bang rang out beside them, and a tremendous impact crashed into their bodies.
Almost instantly, Molly's group reacted. They raised Energy Shields to block the attack and all turned to look at Richard.
As Molly cried, I knew it would be like this, in her heart, she looked toward Richard, mentally prepared for a fierce battle with him.
