"One, two, three, four, five..."
"Six, seven, eight, nine, ten..."
Richard silently counted in his head as he killed one Control Hub Ant after another, each commanding the ant swarm.
He noticed that most Control Hub Ants were purple, though a few were dark gray, belonging to a higher-level existence—every time he killed one, nearly half the ant swarm would stall, taking several seconds, over a dozen seconds, or even longer to recover.
And even after recovering, the swarm could no longer organize its attacks as flexibly and smoothly as before.
For example, the entire ant swarm was like a precisely operating machine. As the Control Hub Ants were continuously eliminated, the machine gradually rusted, becoming harder and harder to operate until... it completely shut down.
Boom!
Richard crashed into a corner of the swarm, blasting apart numerous ordinary ants and exposing two Dark Gray Big-Headed Ants together.
Without any hesitation, Blood Spears shot out and decisively killed them.
Crack!
As the two dark gray ants' bodies shattered, the ant swarm, which had barely been holding together, directly collapsed. All the ants froze at once, as though they had lost their senses, crashing about in every direction in complete chaos. Forget attacking—they could not even maintain their formation.
This should count as resolving it. Richard flew out of the ant swarm and returned to Molly's group. "Don't wait. Take advantage of their confusion and attack with everything you have."
Molly looked over, blinked, then withdrew her gaze. She nodded and gave her subordinates an order. "Attack with full force!"
"Yes."
Whoosh, whoosh!
Boom, boom!
Molly's subordinates stopped holding back and unleashed spell after spell at the chaotic ant swarm.
Richard did not remain idle either. With a wave of his hand, he formed an entire row of Blood Spears and
