"Hm? What?" Oscar asked after hearing Richard's words. Zong Hu, the Level 4 Wizard guard, looked over as well.
Richard turned to the side and instructed the only servant who had remained. "Lyle, go to my bedroom and bring down that square wooden box on the table."
"Yes." The servant named Lyle quickly ran up to the second floor of the Stone Tower. Before long, he came down carrying a square wooden box. At Richard's signal, he set it gently on the floor and opened it, then could not help letting out a low cry.
Inside was a human head—a beautiful young girl's head.
The girl's eyes were tightly shut, as though she had been dead for a long time. Yet the preservation work had been impeccable. Her skin and other parts showed no trace of decay, and there was no foul smell.
What was puzzling was that her mouth had been stuffed full with a wad of cloth, for some unknown reason.
Zong Hu, the Level 4 Wizard guard, grew slightly wary. He stepped subtly closer to Oscar and frowned at Richard.
"What is this?" Oscar remained relatively calm as he questioned Richard.
"Mr. Oscar, you'll understand soon enough." Richard chuckled softly, reached into the box, and took out the girl's head. He lightly slapped her cheek.

Richard raised an eyebrow, put a little more force into it, and delivered a loud slap.
