Gray Mist sensed that something was wrong. He threw a fierce punch at the nearest Air Wall.
Crash!
The Air Wall shattered.
But it did not hinder anything.
Richard had formed hundreds upon thousands of Air Walls. Shattering one of them could not affect the overall construction of the Transparent Pyramid.
Gray Mist's eyes widened as he struck with all his strength, frantically smashing the Air Walls.
Crash, crash!
But Gray Mist destroyed them far more slowly than Richard created them.
The four Energy Furnaces within Richard's body operated at full power, pouring out boundless energy. His feet left the ground as the pyramid continued piling upward layer by layer, swiftly reaching a point near the top.
Gray Mist looked on, a sense of danger rising within him. He struck downward fiercely, trying to carve out an escape route underground, only to find that Richard had not given him that chance at all—at some unknown point, the soil beneath them had also been packed full of floor-like Air Walls, cutting off that possibility.
Gray Mist gritted his teeth and glanced at Richard, who was about to seal the Transparent Pyramid from above. He stamped his foot, preparing to force his way out through the final gap at the top. But the moment his body rose, he suddenly discovered that the pillars of Blood-colored Energy Richard had set up earlier had firmly bound him in place—more precisely, they had bound him within the space inside the pyramid.
His body, vitality, and soul were all locked down.
This! Gray Mist's body tensed. Nearly tangible gray energy surged from within him, wrapping around his entire body before slamming into the pillars of Blood-colored Energy in an attempt to break free—something that clearly required time.
And Richard gave Gray Mist no such time.
