After more than ten seconds of silence, Red Moon finally spoke again, saying coldly, "How you did it has nothing to do with me. The only thing you have to do with me is how much longer you can live."

"Hmph, that's what you think!" Red Moon abruptly raised a hand and aimed it upward.
Almost instantly, with a boom, a round hole nearly a meter across was blasted through the palace ceiling. A blood-red beam of energy as thick as a bathtub descended from extremely high in the sky and struck Richard with perfect accuracy.
The energy within the beam was highly condensed, almost tangible. After striking Richard, its force spread in all directions, and the nearby ground rapidly shattered.
With a crash, the ground caved in, and Richard was blasted into the resulting pit.
The beam did not stop. It continued pouring down, attacking Richard in the depression and continuously unleashing destructive force.
Richard still had the strength to resist. A layer of golden light covered his entire body as he stretched both hands out of the pit, grabbed its edge, and climbed out.
After climbing out, Richard straightened up and endured the blood-red beam still targeting him, his brow slightly furrowed. He turned his head to stare at Red Moon, who was controlling it all, and stepped toward him, apparently intending to engage in close combat. However, his gait was somewhat unsteady and laborious.
Red Moon narrowed his eyes at Richard's condition. He did not mock him; his expression was only solemn.
