The so-called minor problem was that an entirely new type of strange creature had appeared within the strange creature army.
They were enormous white worms, over twenty meters long and nearly a meter thick. At the end of their bodies was a huge mouthpart that could open to nearly one hundred and eighty degrees.
These Strange Worms slowly followed the army forward, occasionally stopping to swallow several nearby strange creatures in a single bite.
Then the Strange Worms would straighten their bodies, spitting out an "egg" containing several strange creatures from their mouths. The "eggs" arced through the air and landed among the soldiers on the defensive line, while a small number fell inside the camp.
The "eggs" rapidly shattered after landing, and the strange creatures swallowed by the Strange Worms crawled out from within.
Although most of the strange creatures were killed by nearby soldiers before recovering from their dizziness, a small number still found opportunities to inflict casualties.
The defensive line became somewhat chaotic.
Goring, commander of the Gray Parrot Enhanced Regiment, watched with a chilling expression. Turning to the artillerymen, he roared, "Abandon all other targets for now. Focus fire armor-piercing shells on those giant worms. Wipe them all out. Leave none alive."

Having received the order, the artillerymen swiftly loaded shells and opened fire. Armor-piercing rounds shot from the barrels in dense streams toward the Strange Worms.

At first, the Strange Worms twisted their bodies to evade several shells, but they could not avoid them all. In the end, the shells struck them, severing the Strange Worms into several pieces and killing them.
