After seeing this, Richard had no intention of giving Shalier a chance to cast anything. With a grab of his right hand, a mass of blood-red energy rapidly condensed into a spear in his palm, and he began to take aim.
At that moment, the many angels around Shalier flapped their wings and moved to intercept him. There were hundreds of them, wielding longswords formed from golden light. From above to below, they densely sealed off every route of attack toward Shalier.
"Blasphemer, die!"
The angels shouted as they attacked with all their strength.
Richard could not help frowning. He did not want to give Shalier a chance to complete his skill, but he could not ignore the angels either. Pressing his lips together, he gripped the blood-colored spear and thrust hard toward the area with the greatest concentration of angels.

The tip of the Blood Spear exploded, creating an Energy Storm that blasted a hole through the angels' defensive line.
Richard passed through it. Clenching his right hand, he formed another Blood Spear and tried to attack Shalier. But he discovered that even more angels desperately rushed forward, surrounding him completely and blocking his view.
Lower Angels, Middle Angels, Upper Angels, and archangels wrapped him, floating in midair, into a sphere from his feet to above his head.

Outside the encirclement... or rather, the sphere of encirclement, the holy energy reaction coming from Shalier grew increasingly intense. Richard sensed a trace of danger.
