"The first version was Nixmans, spelled Necromancer. It meant Wizard, but leaned toward death. The accurate translation should be Undead Mage. In my design, this civilization worshipped death to an extreme, treated the Death God as its supreme deity, and regarded death as a path to liberation from life. In the later stages of its development, suicide became rampant, and it was ultimately destroyed by that."
The second version was Zao Se Ruo, spelled Sorcerer. It meant Wizard, but leaned toward darkness and men. The accurate translation should be Male Wizard in the Shadows.
In my design, this civilization was rife with conspiracies, blood sacrifices, and vendettas. It had been filled with chaos and war from the very beginning. By the middle stages of its development, it established a massive Male Wizard Alliance, seemingly bringing order into being.
The problem was that the Male Wizard Alliance ruled too brutally and harshly. Those under its rule found it unbearable and rose up in rebellion. In an unprecedentedly long war, the civilization was destroyed."
"After the Wei Zhe De version civilization was destroyed, what was the civilization I once lived in called?" Richard asked.
"The civilization you once lived in..." Ke Rui Te said. "Actually, I had yet to give it an official name... Don't look at me like that. It wasn't because I was too lazy to name it. It was because although the Wei Zhe De version civilization was destroyed, it was not destroyed thoroughly enough. Part of it continued on and became the civilization you lived in. So, in a sense, your civilization inherited the Wei Zhe De civilization. It could be called... Wei Zhe De 2.0."
