Each with Their Own Secrets

Explosions and screams rang out as corpse after corpse fell from midair like dumplings dropped into a pot, smashing onto the ground outside Blue Lake Manor and littering it with bodies.

"Gulp!"

Bobobo Wei Qi swallowed hard at the sight. Though he was stronger than any of the enemies, if he suffered the same attack, he still had no confidence he would survive.

Because this was unlike every attack he had encountered before. It was simply too... violent.

Yes, too violent. That was the only word he could think of to describe it.

Then he saw the person who had created that violence—Richard.

"Burning Clouds" gradually dispersed, revealing Richard's figure high in the air as he slowly descended toward the ground.

"Richard!"

Bobobo Wei Qi quickly greeted him.

Richard ignored him, landing on the ground with a cold expression among the corpses and beginning to inspect them.

Bobobo Wei Qi's expression stiffened briefly. He followed Richard down, looked at him awkwardly, and greeted him again. "Um... Richard, thank you. You saved me."

Pointing at the corpses, Richard said, "I want to know who these people were and why they came here. They attacked my manor, so I had every reason to strike back. But I can't deny that it seems like you deliberately led them here."
