As the old man's soul emerged from the Lich Phylactery and asked Richard a question, Richard was studying him intently.

After hearing the old man out, Richard thought for a moment before answering, "The place you're in is one of my laboratories."

"A laboratory?" The old man's expression shifted slightly. It was rather different from what he had imagined. In a low voice, he said, "So you aren't a Patton Academy apprentice who specifically came to revive me? And you aren't a student who inherited my legacy?"

"I'm not," Richard said. "I merely used a minor spiritual spell for research purposes and tried to awaken you. It seems the results are quite good."

"Uh..." The old man's face grew even uglier. Muttering to himself, he said, "For research purposes... you... what do you want to do to me?"

"Nothing. I just want to learn some information. No need to be so nervous."

"Then will you help me?" the old man asked.

"With what?"

"Revive me."

"Revive you?"

"Yes, revive me." The old man spoke with great seriousness.

"What would I need to do?" Richard asked.
