"Goodbye, Wizard Yuesefu. If I get the chance, I'll visit you in Delan next time." Standing outside Blue Lake Manor, Richard bid the departing Yuesefu farewell with a wave, watching him disappear into the distance.
After seeing him off, Richard turned around. After giving it some thought, he quickly headed back to the reception room.
Inside the reception room, the attentive butler, Jia Lie, was tidying up the tea set, preparing to take it to the kitchen for washing.
Seeing this, Richard spoke up to stop him. "Wait, Jia Lie. Put the tea set back where it was."
"Hm?" Jia Lie froze, looking at Richard in confusion. Then he grew a little flustered, thinking he had done something wrong. Carefully setting the tea set back on the table, he looked at Richard and asked tentatively, "Master, did I do something poorly?"
"No, it's not your problem. It's the tea set's problem," Richard said.
"Hm?" Jia Lie sighed in relief, though he was still puzzled.
Richard did not explain further. He quickly walked over to the tea set Yuesefu had used earlier, first picking up the teacup filled with tea and setting it aside before gently lifting the silver tray.
The entire silver tray was circular, over ten centimeters in diameter, with a slight depression in the middle that fit the base of the teacup perfectly. The design was ingenious, but it was not expensive. It was an old item left behind by the manor's previous owner. Oxidized over many years, the tray's surface was dull, as though coated in a fine layer of dust.
