In the blink of an eye, the second day arrived.
Richard carried a metal case into Laboratory No. 3 once again.
He opened the metal case and took out a metal tower over sixty centimeters tall, one size larger than the previous Type A Mark I. "This is the Type A Mark II Energy Absorption Tower," Richard explained, glancing at Tinwood. He briskly inspected the new tower's magic patterns, activated it to begin absorbing energy from the void, and then connected it to the Energy Controller with wires.
"Kid, was everything you said before true?" Tinwood spoke after witnessing Richard's entire operation. "Yesterday, you said setting up that metal clunker was only the beginning. Was it really just the beginning? You... how many of these metal clunkers are you planning to put in my room?"
"It's still uncertain for now. We'll see gradually," Richard replied blandly. He paid Tinwood little attention. Once he confirmed that the Type A Mark II Energy Absorption Tower was operating normally, he carried the metal case out.
On the trunk in the room, Tinwood's human face twisted severely. Watching Richard leave, his sunken mouth continuously expelled rapid bursts of air, making hissing sounds, as though expressing his extreme dissatisfaction and vehement protest.
But his protest was useless.

He opened the cases and took out a metal tower from each. One was pale red, while the other was pale gray. The differing colors came from the different materials used to make them.
