"Right?" Koga Kuchiki let out a chilling laugh. Veins writhed beneath the skin of his face like worms, making him look terrifying. "What a joke! I gave him a reason to exist! I made him the monster Soul Society feared!"
He jerked his head up and fixed Muramasa with a stare. "Muramasa! Are you still listening to that brat's nonsense? Come here! This is your last chance!"
Koga held out a hand, looking impatient.
Yuko had seen enough of Koga's ugly behavior. "Looks like being locked up so long made your brain rot. When you need someone's help, try asking nicely. Have you forgotten even that much?"
Koga glared at Yuko with resentment.
Yuko glared right back. What, did he think he could glare her to death?

"How pitiful, Koga Kuchiki."
Byakuya's cool voice drew Koga's attention back.
"What did you say?"
Koga turned to him, his face dark.
"There's no one behind you."
The veins at Koga's temples bulged even more hideously. He did not quite understand what Byakuya meant, but it irritated him all the same.
Byakuya lowered his eyelids slightly. With a subtle flick of his wrist, the cherry-colored swords surrounding them began to turn.

Muramasa gritted his teeth, rolled awkwardly across the ground, and snatched up another golden halberd lying nearby, still intact.
"Come on, brat. Let me see what the Kuchiki Family has left to stand on."
He could lose his head, but he could not lose his nerve.
However rattled Koga
