Shinobu lowered her head slightly and walked slowly up to the white-haired woman. Her violet eyes stared down at the woman, cold and shadowed.
"Stop flattering yourself. You're nothing but a byproduct of a Zanpakuto."
"Pfft, hahaha!" The white-haired woman blinked, then burst out laughing. The chains swayed as her body shook.
Shinobu watched her coolly.
When she had laughed enough, the white-haired woman looked at her with a smile. "A byproduct of a Zanpakuto? See, this is what I mean. We're all the same person, yet we can't understand each other?"
"What are you trying to say?" Shinobu finally grabbed her by the collar, a vein rising at her temple. "Aren't you the one who refuses to talk to us?"
"Talk? If we're one and the same, shouldn't you understand without my saying anything?"
Shinobu gave her a deadly smile. "Understand without you saying anything? Are we your boyfriends? You should pluck out your eyes and swallow them. See if the worms in your gut know what you're thinking."
She was so angry she almost laughed. If this woman didn't want to talk, she could just keep quiet.
The white-haired woman smiled faintly. "See? What kind of good side is this? I can practically feel your killing intent."
Shinobu shot her a sidelong glance. "I'm the good side, not a saint, and definitely not an idiot."
"Look at yourself. What part of you resembles her?" The white-haired woman didn't resist. She simply met Shinobu's gaze with a faint smile. "If we really were of one mind, would it matter which of us controlled this body?"
Shinobu fell silent for a moment, then released her collar with an irritated shove.
"See? You understand perfectly well." The white-haired woman shrugged, neither agreeing nor disagreeing with Shinobu's response. Her expression gradually settled.
