Yoruichi's mind went blank as she stared hollow-eyed at the sky.
There was. There really was a freak like that.
Everyone fell into thought. Ichigo and Rukia exchanged a glance, their eyes lighting up as they raised a finger and spoke at the same time.
"Ah! Kenpachi!"
"Ah! Captain Zaraki!"
Yoruichi spoke just as calmly: "Unohana."
After a moment of silence, the Visored all looked baffled. "Who?"
They had never heard of Zaraki, but Unohana couldn't mean that Unohana, could it?

Rukia looked at Yoruichi in surprise. "Huh? Captain Unohana?"
"Oh! Sister Hana too!"
Yuko punched her right fist into her left palm, realization dawning. She had almost forgotten about Sister Hana.
Shinji Hirako raised an eyebrow. "By Sister Hana, you don't mean..."
Yoruichi said evenly, "The Fourth Division Captain, Retsu Unohana."
Yuko nodded along. "Sister Hana is terrifying when she starts cutting people down. She's like a freak... No, she is a freak."
Hina Mori swayed slightly and blinked. "You're kidding, right? Captain Unohana? She's that much of a freak?"
Ichigo and Rukia looked equally baffled. Were they talking about Captain Unohana? They had noticed that Yuko seemed to be on the back foot whenever she spoke with Captain Unohana, but they had never thought it was because the captain was such a freak.
Then both of them whipped their heads around to look at Chizuru.
Chizuru understood what they wanted and hurried to explain. "Teacher Unohana's training really is hard, but it's nowhere near as extreme as Teacher Yuko makes it sound."
"You can't go all out fighting kids. But Sister Hana really does love cutting people. Why else would she have gone into medicine?" Yuko raised a finger, her face solemn. "To see blood, of course~"
