Yoshino's face really did darken. She pulled her hand back and flicked Yuko lightly on the forehead. "What do you mean, I'm shady? You ungrateful little thing, I was trying to help you!"
Yuko gave her a thumbs-up. "Yoshino, you're downright black-hearted. I'll contact Sister Hana and the others right now."
Yoshino was speechless. Other people used flattery to butter someone up. Yuko somehow managed to sound flattering while saying the most outrageous things.
"Change of plans. The first wave of blind boxes will feature only five captains." Yuko sent her instructions back to Soul Society through a Hell Butterfly. "Captain Kurotsuchi, Captain Kyoraku, Captain Kuchiki, me, and Captain Unohana as the secret edition."
"Prioritize production in that order."
The message went to both Nemu Kurotsuchi and Retsu Unohana.
Yuko couldn't be bothered to make another trip herself.
Hearing the arrangement, Yoshino asked, "Is there some deeper reason for that lineup?"
Yuko answered with her usual blunt honesty. "Yeah. They're mostly ugly, so everyone will buy more blind boxes trying to get me."
Even Yoshino, who knew exactly how thick-skinned Yuko was, broke into a sweat.
"Surely Captain Kuchiki and Captain Unohana don't count?"
She knew little about most of the Gotei 13's captains, but Retsu Unohana and Byakuya Kuchiki were exceptions.
"Sister Hana's the secret edition, so the odds of getting her are tiny. As for Byakuya, we have to give the female Soul Reapers a reason to spend, don't we?" Yuko smiled. "I'll just have to make this sacrifice. The first wave needs strong sales, or everything after it will be harder."
Yoshino understood what she meant. She was still shameless.
The following week arrived in no time.
Bang!
Hiyori, dressed in a maid outfit and looking ready to bite someone's head off, slammed a cup of
