"Right about what?! Tell me, what part of that was right?!" Ignorance staggered and barely steadied herself. The words came out through gritted teeth. "Marriage? Is there anything in your head besides mush? Is the connection point a marriage registry? Should I get you a diamond ring too?!"
Yuko shrank from the murderous aura and asked weakly, "It's... not right?"
"Like hell it is!" Ignorance finally exploded. She grabbed Yuko by the collar and shook her hard. "Keep playing dumb and acting cute, and I'll make you regret it!"
"Ugh... stop shaking... I'm... falling apart..." Yuko's head bobbed back and forth like a rattle. She felt as though her soul was about to be shaken out of her body.
Shinobu pressed a hand to her forehead and sighed softly.
Were they ever going to clear this up?
"Hmph." After a few more shakes, Ignorance shoved Yuko to the ground.
"Cough, cough..." Yuko lay there for a while before propping herself up. Rubbing her dizzy head, she protested, "I was thinking outside the box! What's the deepest connection between two people if not marriage? My logic is perfectly sound!"
"How exactly do you want to connect?"
A vein twitched at Ignorance's temple. She flicked Yuko on the forehead.
Thwack!
"I'm dying! I'm dying!"
Yuko covered her face and rolled across the corridor floor.
"All right, Yuko, stop teasing Ignorance." Shinobu rubbed her face and pulled Yuko up from the floor.
She couldn't even tell who was getting the better deal anymore. Yuko, will you tease people even when it gets you beaten up?
Yuko sat up and pointed indignantly at her forehead. "I'm teasing her? Then take a look at what she did to me!"
Ignorance couldn't be bothered to answer.
Shinobu ignored Yuko's antics too and returned to the subject.
