"Don't! Come with us~"
Hearing Yuko's words, Senna immediately clung to her even tighter, looking at her with teary eyes.
"All right, all right. Yuko, stop teasing Senna all the time."
Yoshino lightly bumped Yuko's back with her elbow, wearing a helpless smile as she picked up the kimono from the counter and held it out to Yuko.
"It's rare for Senna to be this thoughtful. Go try it on and see if it fits. Let us see how it looks too."
Yuko glanced at Yoshino, then at Senna, who was hugging her with pursed lips and looked like she was about to cry. In the end, she let out an annoyed sigh and hopped down from the stool.
"Honestly, I can never say no to you two." Yuko complained, but her body honestly accepted the kimono, holding it up against herself.
Yoshino smiled and chimed in, "Senna spent a long time picking it out. You can't disappoint the child's heartfelt intentions."
"Yeah, yeah." Yuko shot Senna a sidelong look, then took the kimono and headed for Yoshino's room.
Senna followed behind, craning her neck in an attempt to go in with her, but Yuko mercilessly pressed a palm to her face and pushed her back out before slamming the door shut.
"Wait outside," Yuko's muffled voice came from behind the door.
Inside the room, Yuko casually tossed the kimono onto the bed and stretched lazily. She picked it up, shook it open, and held it against herself in front of the mirror. The style and color truly suited her tastes: a deep purple decorated with subtle silver butterfly-wing patterns, understated yet carrying an air of luxury and mystery.
When it came to clothes, she did not like anything too flashy.
That girl's taste was not bad, at least.
