Yuko was covering her bases. She didn't know whether Senna had made friends at school besides Ichigo and the others. Even their class had a few troublemaking slackers.
Of course, Yuko didn't doubt that they would do their math homework. How well they'd done it, or when they'd do it, was another matter.

"Enough talk! You're about to taste the bitter fruit of defeat!" With a grin, Senna whipped her phone up in front of her chest.
Anyone who didn't know better might think she was about to transform with a flip phone.
"Please, put on your show." Yuko's eyelid twitched, but she held back the retort.
"Then behold the power of the people!"
She flipped open her phone and called Ichigo first, deliberately putting him on speaker.
The phone rang a few times before he answered. Ichigo's faintly impatient voice came through the speaker.
