Chapter Summaries

After fleeing Konoha, Nagato and Konan decided to seek refuge with Uchiha Yuzuru in Kumogakure. Meanwhile, Uchiha Yuzuru encountered White Zetsu, who said Uchiha Madara wanted to meet him, and followed it.

• Shimura Danzō ordered Konoha's forces to pursue Nagato and Konan, but they refused because Minato Namikaze and the Nine-Tails needed their help.
• Shimura Danzō sent a Root shinobi to tell Hanzo of the Salamander to destroy the Akatsuki Organization in exchange for Konoha withdrawing from Amegakure.

• Minato Namikaze asked the Nine-Tails to lend him its power so he could face Uchiha Yuzuru, but the Nine-Tails did not agree.
• Hiruzen Sarutobi told Minato Namikaze to avoid the battlefield, explained his plans for Jiraiya and Orochimaru, and said Minato should prepare to take over as Hokage.
