It wasn't just Dexter.
Even T-BUG, the hacker who never showed her face, was there.
After exchanging pleasantries, Dexter finally deigned to reveal the plan he had drawn up.
"First, you'll go to Azure Tower and walk right in under your fake identities."
"Then T and the Flathead will help you crack the hotel's subnet."
"Last, and most importantly, you'll enter Raijin Arasaka's penthouse suite and take the Relic without anyone being the wiser."
"Oh, and there's one more thing I should mention. Thanks to Mr. Su for getting that braindance recording from Ms. Parker, we know what's inside the penthouse suite."
When Dexter finished, T-BUG added, "Motion-sensor cameras, the latest alarm firmware, Auto Turrets, and new-model scanners... the room's entire security system is connected to the hotel's subnet."
"We can't shut it down directly from outside, but all you need to do is bring the Flathead into the hotel, send it through the vents, and locate the Arasaka netrunner monitoring Azure Tower around the clock. Then we can take them out and shut down the penthouse's security system."
Jack whistled.
Su Xiao nodded as well.
It seemed Dexter wasn't taking such a large cut for nothing.
At least for now, the plan he and T-BUG had worked out looked highly feasible.
If everything went smoothly, they really might get the Relic without alerting anyone.
T-BUG said solemnly, "There's one thing I need to remind you all of. Azure Tower isn't quite a death trap, but it's close. For your own safety, be extremely careful during this infiltration. Ideally, don't kill anyone."
"We'll try. That's all I can promise."
Su Xiao certainly wasn't going to give any guarantees.
No plan was immune to surprises.
If something unexpected really did happen, they couldn't just take a beating without fighting back.
