It wasn't that Su Xiao didn't trust T-BUG.
She simply wasn't as close to him as Jack, V, and Lucy were.

This was precisely why Su Xiao had suddenly insisted on changing the Flathead's case earlier.
It was so he could bring the Falcione inside.
Su Xiao took out the silver briefcase, placed it on the floor, and stepped on it.
The briefcase immediately activated, unfolding and rapidly enveloping his entire body.
V and Jack couldn't help drawing sharp breaths at Su Xiao's transformed appearance.
Remembering his warning, they clamped their hands over their mouths to keep from making a sound.
"Let's get to work first. Save your questions until we're out."
Both nodded.
Then, at the same time, they both came up with the same question.
"What about you? How are you going to get out dressed like that?"

The Flathead has Thermal Camouflage Armor.

Su Xiao vanished before V and Jack's eyes.
The door to the Lapis Suite opened.
V and Jack walked out, trying to look as natural as possible.
T-BUG's puzzled voice came over the comms. "Where's Su? Why is it just you two? Where did he go?"
Su Xiao was actually following right behind them, invisible in plain sight thanks to his activated Optical Camouflage, as he replied calmly.
"I'm staying in the room. If anything goes wrong, I can cover them."
