Unfortunately...
Su Xiao clenched his fist.
He stepped forward.
Bang!
The guard blocking V and Jack flew backward between them as though he had been hit by a heavy truck, slamming into the blast-resistant wall
before slowly sliding down.
He left a clearly visible trail of blood on the wall.
"Who's there?"
The other guards blanched.
Only then did they notice Su Xiao, whose Optical Camouflage had deactivated when he attacked.
Their professional training kicked in, and they all raised their guns at him.
"I didn't want to kill anyone. Why did you have to force me?"
The guards suddenly saw a blur, and Su Xiao vanished from where he stood.
Then, one guard after another was either punched into the blast-resistant wall like the first guard or sent flying into the ceiling, where they remained lodged.
In just a dozen or so seconds,
the fight was over.
Every one of those well-trained guards died with shattered bones and ruptured organs.
V and Jack were dumbfounded.
So strong.
They could have taken down these guards themselves,
but never as effortlessly as Su Xiao had.
And he had moved so fast.
Even with their implanted Pathfinder 3 optical implants, they could only make out a blurry afterimage.
Had they been his targets, they would have been helpless too.
"Move!"
Su Xiao said nothing else.
He pointed toward the elevator.
The two snapped out of their daze.
They hurried after him.
The three reached the elevator.
Only then did they discover that it had been locked down.
"Stand back."
Su Xiao told V and Jack to step back.
He forced the elevator doors apart himself.
Then he stepped inside.
But he soon realized that this was useless.
Elevators in 2077 no longer had physical buttons. They had all been replaced with touchscreen
