They used huge trailers as walls, and laid laser mines outside the camp.

Sentries were also stationed at higher points.

When they spotted the camp, the sentries inside noticed them as well.

"Just stop here,

" Panam got out of the vehicle. "I'll go negotiate with them. You stay in the car."

They waited outside the camp for a while.

Two people walked out of the camp.

One of them was almost completely bald, and his left hand had been replaced with a prosthetic.

It was not the kind of strength-enhancing cyberware known as Gorilla Arms, but it was another type of combat cyberware.

The other wore a hood and, at first glance, looked like he had wandered in from Assassin's Creed for a cameo.

The hooded man burst out laughing as soon as he saw Panam. "Yo, what brings a big shot back here?"

The bald man also said, "Hahaha, is that a person or a ghost? Or am I still drunk?"

Panam cursed right back.

"Hmph, screw you."

After bumping fists with the two men, the hooded man looked toward the Delamain Taxi following behind them, his tone changing slightly.

"Panam, did you get yourself into trouble?"

"No, nothing like that. They're helping me."

The bald man's tone softened. "Not bad, Panam. It hasn't been long since you went to the city, and you've already made friends."

"It's not what you think. The situation here is complicated. I can't explain it in a few words." Panam scratched her head.

"I remember that this wasn't the vehicle you drove when you left the family. Don't tell me you traded your precious car for these friends?"

"No. My car was hacked by the Random Blade Society. We're going to settle the score now. Mitch, Scorpion, you have to help me."
