"Seriously? How did you know?"
Su Xiao did not explain. He simply said to him,
"You stay here. I'll be back soon."
"What are you going to do?" River had just begun speaking when he was shocked to discover that Su Xiao had vanished from where he stood.
Using Time Zero to slow time, Su Xiao shot away from the spot like an arrow loosed from a bow.
He quickly climbed onto a crate, then stomped down hard on it. Using the force of that step, he flipped up to the second floor.
The effect of Time Zero ended, and time returned to normal.
The Animal Gang members inside the warehouse only felt as though they had been momentarily dazed. They noticed nothing.
Su Xiao hunched over and quietly crept into the monitoring room.
There was no one inside. He scanned the area first and confirmed that the nearest Animal Gang members were more than ten meters away. He then covered the distance in a few quick steps and reached the terminal.
The idea that Animal Gang members had far more muscle than brain was somewhat stereotypical, but it was not far from the truth.
The computer had no password set. Presumably, they were afraid the Animal Gang members would not remember it.
That made things convenient for Su Xiao.
He turned on the computer and quickly found the surveillance system interface.
Then he shut off all eight connected monitors.
That rendered every camera installed throughout the warehouse blind.
"Hm?"
At that moment, Su Xiao noticed an Animal Gang member suddenly walking toward the monitoring room.
However, the man was neither shouting nor walking with a gun raised in a guarded posture. He probably had not noticed Su Xiao.
Su Xiao quietly moved behind the door and waited in silence
