Moss knew nothing about the conversation in the tavern.
She had already arrived at the entrance of the Adventurer's Guild.
"Phew... We're here. Looks like it's not time yet."
Moss stood before the entrance and gently exhaled, easing her breath after running all the way there before pushing the door open.
As soon as she entered the hall, Moss saw Luna standing behind the counter.
Luna happened to see Moss coming through the door as well, and immediately raised her hand to wave at her.
"Good morning, Big Sister Luna."
Moss quickly walked to the counter and smiled at Luna.
"Good morning, Miss Molly. You're here early. It's not time yet, and the people guiding the group haven't arrived."
Luna nodded and said with a smile.
She came out from behind the counter, extended her hand toward the stairs, and made an inviting gesture.
"Miss Molly, I'll take you to the reception room on the second floor to wait."
Moss glanced at the stairs, then nodded and followed Luna upstairs.
After they reached the second floor, the surroundings suddenly became quiet.
There was none of the noisy bustle from the first floor.
At the top of the stairs was a long corridor.
On either side of the corridor stood one dark-brown wooden door after another.
Luna led Moss to a door marked 203 and gently pushed it open.
Moss followed Luna into the room. Directly opposite the entrance was a floor-to-ceiling window, while two exquisite sofas faced each other with a small table between them.
There were also several decorative furnishings, along with a carpet and patterned wallpaper. The room looked very elegant.
"Please sit."
As soon as Luna entered, she had Moss sit on one of the sofas, then went over to a nearby table and began preparing tea.
