As the sun rose and the moon set, Moss had lain on the ground for three whole days.
During that time, she had been thinking aimlessly, thinking and sensing everything in the world.
Until her consciousness blurred and she fell asleep... over and over again.
Perception!
A series of processes through which consciousness became aware of, sensed, attended to, and perceived information from the inner and outer worlds.
"..."
Moss opened her eyes and gazed at the sky that had appeared before her once again.
Blue and white.
"Shh..."
Moss drew in a deep breath. The fragrance of grass and the scent of soil filled her lungs.
She reached out and touched the earth. The fine grains transmitted a sensation through her nerve endings into her mind, where the shape of sand automatically appeared.
The lake water, stirred by the breeze, washed over her ankles.
The cool lake water and refreshing breeze brushed against her skin, bringing changes in temperature.
The sound of water, the sound of friction, the sound of insects crawling, the cries of birds...
Light, color, sound, taste, strength, heat and cold, pain, and so on—all of these were sensations humans could perceive through their five senses.
Moss felt it all, and both her body and mind relaxed as she accepted everything in the world.
Full Body Enhancement
To feel all of this, Moss had even activated her enhancement talent, strengthening her five senses.
"Everything is so ordinary... and yet extraordinary."
Moss stared blankly with her eyes open and murmured.
It was a mysterious, profound feeling.
The scenery was so ordinary, but once she delved into it, she could feel the endless mysteries contained within.
This was scenery unique to humans, and cognition unique to humans.
"If this wasn't a human world, what would it be like?"
