One hour earlier...
"Foolish two-legged insects, you can't stop me!"
Roar—!!!
The Giant Dragon's roar!
Scorching breath blasted over them, a fierce wind filled with sulfur and the stench of burning surging straight into their faces.
Moss tore off her charred, burning cloak, wrinkled her nose in disgust, and said unhappily:
"Your breath really stinks..."
She looked at the Giant Dragon with its jaws spread wide. Raising a hand, she instantly turned the heavy gravity into a round shield!
A flash of crimson light spread across their entire field of vision in an instant.
Dragon's Breath!
Boom—!!!
Facing the scorching flames head-on for the first time, Moss did not choose to withstand them by force. Instead, she used the shield's repulsive force to propel herself out of the breath's range.
Even so, the Gravity Shield was still burned full of holes.
Boom!
Moss crashed heavily onto the ground, her feet carving a deep trench across the earth.
"Flames with anti-magic properties? It seems to have other abilities as well..."
Half-kneeling, Moss looked at her burned arm and could not help frowning as she muttered:
So hot!
Those were no ordinary flames. They could break through the defensive effect of the resistance talent.
"It only took one hit to raise Natural Change Resistance by three levels... That's quite exaggerated."
Moss raised her hand and wiped over the wound, golden light flickering in her eyes.
She looked up at the Giant Dragon still twisting its body and trying to crawl out, completely unaware that her face was covered by a strange smile.
Fervent yet icy battle intent, and beyond that...
There was nothing else, as if she were a machine without emotions.
Whoosh—thud!
An arrow descended from the sky and landed on the ground nearby.
Novi appeared atop the arrow immediately afterward
