"Mm... Is it morning already? The sound of the waves is so noisy... Has the tide come in? I'm so sleepy... I was up too late dissecting that fishman last night..."
Moss muttered as she climbed off the Little Ball-brand mattress, rubbing her eyes before letting out a huge yawn!
"Ha--ah..."
She landed unsteadily, summoned a ball of water, and splashed it onto her face. Only then did Moss fully wake up.
"Brr~! So cold!"
Doused by the cold water, Moss couldn't help shivering and cried out.

As she brushed her teeth, Moss walked over to the wall of the cavern and raised her hand to summon a ball of flame, studying the records on the rock wall.

Although they were called fishmen, Moss preferred to call them amphibious humanoids.
That was because, aside from their fishlike heads, their bodily structure was closer to that of humans, while their exterior was more like that of amphibians such as salamanders!
All four limbs had webbed digits, there was a fin on the back, and no tail!
Their eyes protruded, they had gills on both sides of their faces, their ears resembled fish fins, their teeth were fine and slender, and their tongues could not extend.
