Chapter Summaries

Moss and Umeilu were stopped by Asiala’s city guard patrol while trying to enter the city, and Umeilu’s traces exposed them during an inspection. After knocking out the twenty-three cavalrymen, Moss decided to make them dream of becoming friends and sent Umeilu to find strong monsters.

• Moss disguised herself and prepared to cooperate when Asiala’s city guard patrol stopped her carriage to search for wanted criminals.
• A female knight used a Magic Eye that detected whether someone had recently killed anyone, and Moss realized it could expose Umeilu’s involvement in the Xiris City battle.
