After Moss finished sorting through the memories in her mind, she suddenly leaped to her feet.

Under the shocked gazes of her brothers and sisters, she started dancing street dance and singing rap!

Moss sang a bunch of improvised lyrics that were neither pleasant to hear nor rhymed, then impatiently opened the game panel bestowed by the Law of Survival Games.

A job was a simplified way for an Awakened One to obtain supernatural power.

Melee Types: Warrior, Shield Guard

Ranged Types: Archer, Mage

Support Types: Priest, Paladin

Life Types: Alchemist, Blacksmith

These four categories and eight initial jobs were the most basic starting jobs!

As for which type of job to choose, it generally depended on the Awakened One's Innate Talent.

This Innate Talent was generated by the Law according to the talent potential best suited to each Awakened One.

The simplest talent, Robust Physique, was obviously suited to melee jobs such as Warrior or Shield Guard.

Flame Manipulation was naturally suited to the ranged Mage job.

With Farsight, one should choose Archer!

Each job also had certain fixed talent trees available for selection.

However, this did not mean that choosing a job restricted one to specific weapons.

An Awakened One who chose the Warrior job could also use a bow and arrows in battle.

If they obtained a spell talent, they could even moonlight as a Mage.

Choosing a job was merely a way to obtain a job-change talent suited to that job's characteristics when changing jobs.

This job-change talent had stronger effects than the job's fixed talents.

As for job changes, they had to be explained through job levels and ranks.

There were ten job levels in total. Each time one leveled up, their Physique and Spirit would increase, and they would also gain one Job Point.

These Job Points could be used to upgrade talents, obtain job talents, or upgrade their Physique or Spirit levels.

Once a job reached Level 10, the user would begin changing jobs.

After the job change, the Law would generate a job talent meeting the requirements based on the Awakened One's job experience during their job levels.

At that point, their job level would reset to zero, while all the values they had gained would be retained. Their rank would also rise by one tier.

There were seven ranks in total: Bronze Rank, Silver Rank, Gold Rank, Diamond Rank, Adamantine Rank, Orichalcum Rank, and Legendary Rank.

With each increase in rank, the difficulty of raising one's job level would multiply.

However, correspondingly, increasing one's rank would also grant the Awakened One a certain increase in lifespan!

At the same time, after increasing their rank, an Awakened One could choose a job again.

For example, an Awakened One might choose Warrior at Bronze Rank.

After reaching Silver Rank, they could still choose Warrior, or they could choose Mage.

Alternatively, if that Awakened One gained enough job experience at Bronze Rank, they might generate a job more suited to them personally.
