Hu Xin'er sensibly handed over her blood soul. Just as Lin Bai had said, because of him, she had already been hunted by every member of the Demon Race in the Wildlands Secret Realm. Even if Lin Bai released her seal, facing such a massive pursuit by the Demon Race, she would probably still find it difficult to escape.

But when that mouthful of blood and wisp of smoke were pulled from Hu Xin'er's body, her face paled at a speed visible to the naked eye, as though she had instantly lost half her life.
The wisp of soul-thread twined with the blood, forming a dark-red thread that sank into Lin Bai's brow. With but a thought, Lin Bai could now kill Hu Xin'er.
"Since you've handed over your blood soul, come with me."
"To Moonrise City. We can leave the Wildlands Secret Realm from there!"
Lin Bai said with a faint smile.
Hu Xin'er glared at Lin Bai resentfully, twisted her slender waist, and came to his side.
"What are you doing?" Lin Bai asked in confusion.
"Hold me," Hu Xin'er said irritably.
The moment Lin Bai heard that, his face flushed red. He even took two steps back, his expression somewhat flustered.
Hu Xin'er looked at Lin Bai strangely. Earlier, she had never taken the initiative to ask Lin Bai to hold her, yet he had come right over and wrapped an arm around her waist.
