After careful consideration, Lin Bai finally determined that the stone pillar was actually the weathered eave of a pavilion.
"This eave was entirely forged from stone..." Lin Bai muttered to himself, lowering his head to look at the soil beneath the stone pillar. "Has this structure already been buried underground?"
A pointed tip of the eave protruded from the ground, while the entire pavilion had already been buried beneath the earth. Dozens of towering ancient trees had even grown around it.
"Flying swords!" Lin Bai's mind stirred, and three flying swords shot out of his body. After circling once in midair, they followed Lin Bai's will and slashed down into the earth, sending the soil flying as they slowly dug the structure out from underground.
Yet moments later, after Lin Bai's two flying swords had nearly hollowed out half the mountain, he could still see only the tip of the iceberg. Not even a tenth of the structure had been exposed, and he still could not make out what exactly it was.
Lin Bai was utterly shocked. The structure was actually so enormous that the earth he had excavated with his flying swords stretched for several miles, yet he still could not see the whole thing. "Is this structure really so huge? If I want to dig it out completely, won't I have to hollow out this entire mountain?"
"Something's wrong..." A flash of inspiration suddenly crossed Lin Bai's mind, and he abruptly came to his senses. He stared at the mountain in shock. "Could it be that this entire mountain is the structure?"
An extremely bold idea arose in Lin Bai's heart. Could it be that, after the corrosion of time, the wind had carried soil over and buried the entire structure underground, forming the mountain Lin Bai saw
