Curse Killing

Hekate was not confused for long before Star gave her the answer.

Breaking through to become a Formal Mage had increased her Star Language Ability once more. She could now use it four times a day.

The Uruk Kingdom had already noticed these ill-intentioned assassins and placed them under surveillance. Betty had learned that they planned to assassinate talented individuals throughout Lundria on a large scale. The resonance effect could be activated at any time, but while in resonance, stars would orbit around her body, making her extremely conspicuous. Therefore, Hekate normally kept the resonance state turned off.

Panic rose in everyone's hearts. They exchanged glances, then immediately abandoned Bobby and fled the house.

The firelight danced wildly like a Demon, illuminating the entire house.

"Please, save me..." The man cried out hoarsely, his voice filled with despair and terror.

The unceasing flames had nearly burned through the Magic Shield around him. The searing heat mercilessly roasted his body, causing his skin to rapidly swell and turn a horrifying blood-red.

Addison turned a blind eye to it. He crouched down and began tracing the Fire Curse Technique in reverse, wanting to see who had ruined his plans.

Yet the result of his reverse tracing was a dark Starry Sky, countless starlights hanging above the night curtain, nearly blinding him.

Clearly, the person who had cast this curse was an expert.

Though he did not know why the other party had used an apprentice spell like the Fire Curse Technique to torment someone, it was best not to offend such an expert if possible.

Addison kicked Bobby's Magic Shield apart, allowing the Fire Curse Technique's power to fully erupt over his body. Before long, Bobby was burned into a lump of charcoal.

"How are the other hideouts?"

"According to reports, they don't know about what happened here yet."

"Then have them close the net."

Since something had happened here, the assassins at the other locations would soon find out. Before they could escape, they would take down as many as possible.

Hekate's face was somewhat pale, and her body swayed unsteadily. Even after exhausting all her magic power, she had failed to burn the other party to death. Only by draining her magic power through sacrificing her lifespan had she finally managed to kill him.

With the Star Guard ability, my curse magic can't be reverse-traced, nor can other mages curse me back. So in the future, my combat magic should focus on curse magic.
