The Fairy Egg still had not hatched, but Teacher Emmand's archaeological work had come to an end. He gathered a huge pile of junk from the Cannibal Ruins and went to find Hekate.
"Hekate, you should head back first. We fly too slowly—it will take us at least a month to return to Uruk." Teacher Emmand knew that Hekate must have flown incredibly fast to reach them and rescue them in such a short time. A few old bones like them definitely could not manage it.
Hekate nodded. She could not possibly accompany several old men on a leisurely journey home, so she took the Fairy Egg and vanished from before the three old men in the blink of an eye.
Old Hamil narrowed his eyes. "Hiss, was that Super Flash?"
"What kind of strength does your student have, using Blink just to travel?"
Emmand scratched his head. He did not know either.
Two days later, Hekate returned to Grants Academy.
Dean Ornis immediately came to ask about the situation. Hekate said that Teacher Emmand was safe, but they were traveling rather slowly and would not return for another month.
At that, the dean finally breathed a sigh of relief. After thanking Hekate, he left in peace.
When she returned to the Astrology Tower, Furia was teaching Little Bubble how to speak. Natasha looked delighted when she saw her. "Hekate, you're finally back!"
"Mm. Has anything happened recently?"
Natasha said, "Yes. Lady Audrey came looking for you, but you weren't here. She asked me to tell you that your sister Edith is getting married, so she hopes you can go home after you return."
