A few days later, Natasha was going out on a mission with Furia.
Natasha often picked up money for no apparent reason, so she never lacked funds. On top of that, her magical cultivation had always lagged behind, so she rarely went on adventures and spent most of her time cultivating on the top floor.
But things were different now. After obtaining the Angel Heritage, her confidence had risen. She wanted to go on a grand adventure with Hekate, but Hekate was a total shut-in. How could she possibly go out?
So she called Furia instead.
Furia had no problem with it. She often went out to take on all kinds of missions anyway. To improve one's mastery of magic, one needed real combat, and missions were the only way she could get such opportunities.
Not everyone could be like Hekate and increase their magic proficiency just by sitting there and meditating.
Though Natasha was somewhat disappointed, she agreed to go on a mission with Furia.
Thus, Hekate continued cultivating peacefully at the Astrology Tower, occasionally returning home to visit her mother.
Ever since the Republic had been established, her father and eldest brother had been busy beyond measure. Nobles in various regions repeatedly tried to stir up trouble, but this was a revolution from the top down. How could they possibly cause much of a fuss? Her father and eldest brother had plenty to handle, after all, they were the two people Chairman Ornis trusted most.
Her second sister had married off, and Loria had to attend school. Only Nydia remained at home with their mother, and she was terribly lonely. Hekate could only go back and keep her company.
The first day home.
