Chapter Summaries

Hekate and Selena investigated why the angels had stopped attending classes and discovered that Gabrielle and Yunrong had turned their underground hideout into a gaudy entertainment space. Hekate found them and several angels absorbed in virtual games, leaving the angels’ studies in disarray.

• Sybill returned to the wand so Hekate could prepare to merge it with Star Shard Guardian, and Selena asked Hekate to deal with the angels who had stopped attending the Academy.
• Selena examined Hekate’s Fusion Stone and said she might be able to copy it, so Hekate sent Sybill back to work with Gelina while she and Selena went to the angel cottage.
• Hekate and Selena opened the cottage door and were hit by loud music and dazzling lights, but the cottage appeared normal when Hekate opened it again.

• Hekate restored Sybill after their fusion succeeded, and Sybill went to Hell to find Gelina.
• Hekate targeted the Twisted Evil God with the Three Thousand Blazing Flame Curse while the Light Cone Federation and Black Tide Civilization continued fighting beyond the universe.

• The revived Twisted Evil God told the other Evil Gods that Hekate had grown powerful enough to kill it, and it named the Witch of Twisted Truth as someone who might harm her.

• Hekate followed the Star Essence Life Tree’s branch into the void and used Star Speech to contact the Stars beyond the universe.
• The Stars told Hekate that she had reached the Mother World and explained that the Life Tree needed to grow further to reach it fully.
• Hekate learned about the Light Cone Federation and the Aether Civilization from the Stars, then realized she had missed her meeting with Ah Hu.
• Iluvia asked Xilo whether the Aether Civilization could rescue imprisoned Main God Level magicians, but Xilo said that would mean all-out war with the Light Cone Federation.

Hekate went to the Transcendent Space with the Angelic Main God and arranged for Iluvia and Sangeria to reunite after tens of thousands of years apart. As Iluvia embraced Sangeria, Hekate stepped aside with Moira to discuss their own matters.

• Hekate learned from Vitalis that Orniss's reincarnation was nearly complete and that he would likely emerge in three days.
• Hekate entered the Transcendent Space, where the Heart Witch greeted her with an embrace and Iluvia began sharing news about the Light Cone Federation.

The Invisible Witch Xilo escaped the abyss after the Invisible Evil God marked her, then helped Hekate devise a way to counter the abyssal Evil Gods. Hekate sent Xilo back to locate the Evil God that protected against distortion so she could burn it.

• The Invisible Evil God sensed Xilo in the abyss, recognized her Invisible power, and marked her as she escaped.
• Xilo went to Transcendent Space to seek help from the Star Witch, while Hekate’s flames struck the Invisible Evil God and Xilo prevented it from using its Invisible ability.
• Xilo told Hekate she could temporarily nullify an opponent’s ability, allowing Hekate’s attacks to hit Evil Gods that could otherwise resist them.
• Hekate asked Xilo to find the Evil God that protected against distortion and nullify its ability so Hekate could burn it while the Invisible Evil God was dead.

Xilo and Hekate worked together to kill the Paradox Evil God and the Twisted Evil God in the Abyss. Hekate then considered heating the entire Abyss to weaken its imprisoned Evil Gods, while Xilo returned to the Aether Civilization with Moira.

• Xilo nullified the Paradox Evil God's rewriting ability and the Twisted Evil God's distortion ability, allowing Hekate's curse to burn them.
• The Paradox Evil God died after the Death Star's power drained its life energy, and Xilo escaped the Abyss.
• Hekate explained that she had also killed the Twisted Evil God and aimed to weaken every Evil God by burning away its health.

Hekate received the Heart Witch’s diary and learned from the Stars that Cassinia had left a request for her concerning Ah Hu. The Stars began telling Ah Hu’s tragic past, leaving Hekate to hear how the Moon Clan had torn her family apart.

• In the Abyss, the Paradox Evil God revived, blamed the Twisted Evil God for its weakened state, and killed it again.
• Hekate spent ten million and twenty Gold Pounds on the Heart Witch’s diary, which contained Cassinia’s final note: “Cassinia, I found her...”

Hekate learned how Cassinia rescued Ah Hu and discovered why Ah Hu had waited for her. She accepted Cassinia’s first two conditions and received Star Blessing and the Heavenly Star Scythe, then heard the third condition concerning Ah Hu.

• Hekate read Cassinia’s account of taking Ah Hu from the Moon Sage and raising her until she awakened as the Heart Witch.
