Ch. 81Kill the Wind Serpent

Hekate learned that Vitalis’s former master, the Wind Serpent Taiqing, was waking and used Angel’s Judgment to kill it. Vitalis remained safe with Hekate, who discovered that Taiqing had only had a little life force left.

  • Vitalis suddenly remembered fragments of her past, began speaking, and agreed to look after Hekate’s Tree of Life.
  • Star revealed that Vitalis’s former master, Taiqing, was a Wood Element Mutated Wind Serpent and a 10-star God of Magic whose Slave Contract still connected them.
  • Hekate manifested the Eternal Seraphim Crown and amplified Angel’s Judgment eightfold to attack Taiqing.
  • Taiqing awoke beneath a mountain, raged against the Angel magic, and poisoned a vast stretch of the Eastern Primeval Forest while trying to find its attacker.
  • Taiqing’s remaining life force ran out, and it fell dead before it could send its poisonous clouds toward human regions.
  • Hekate realized Taiqing had only about 160 years of life force remaining and kept Vitalis safe.

Ch. 82They've Gone Too Far

Lulu returned to find the Emerald Shadow Elf homeland poisoned by the Wind Serpent’s corpse, and the tribe blamed the Frost Snow Elves after their Life Tree was weakened by a curse. The feud escalated into a war between the two Creation Ancestors, while Hekate learned that the resulting damage had increased the world’s Magic Concentration.

  • Lulu returned to the Emerald Shadow homeland, found it poisoned, and delivered the Frost Snow Elves’ alliance pact to Crysta and Sally.
  • After the Emerald Shadow Elves accepted the pact, their Life Tree shed leaves and poison breached their subspace barrier; Crysta repaired the breach while Sally organized purification efforts.
  • Sally and the elders purified the Mutated Wind Serpent’s corpse, and Crysta concluded that the Frost Snow Elves had cursed their Life Tree and caused Airlan’s death.
  • Crysta ordered an attack on the Frost Snow Life Tree, and Kino Mage retaliated by smashing the Emerald Shadow Creation Space, starting a war between the Creation Ancestors.
  • Hekate learned that damage to the Emerald Shadow Elf space had raised the world’s Magic Concentration by 8%, bringing her close to 7-star God of Magic Level.

Ch. 83Wraith Ring

Hekate obtained the Relic-Tier Wraith Ring and comforted Teacher Ivin after she learned of Emmand’s lifelong unreturned love. Meanwhile, the dragons debated how to respond to the mysterious person who had claimed the Origin Star, but Ansul still could not identify them.

  • Hekate used 135 Dark Spirit Ore to claim the Wraith Ring, which strengthened Curse Magic by sending Wraiths to disrupt enemies.
  • Teacher Ivin showed Hekate Emmand’s undelivered love letters and recordings, explaining that she had rejected him because she was focused on finding her mother and feared outliving him.
  • Hekate comforted Teacher Ivin and asked Star to search for her mother, Shiva Greenvine, but Star found no elf by that name.
  • The Dragon King Obu asked the gathered dragons how they should respond to someone privately claiming the Origin Star; some argued for confronting the person, while others favored an alliance.
  • The Dragon King Obu asked Ansul whether he had identified the mysterious person, and Ansul admitted that he had not.

Ch. 84Natasha's Fate Rule

Hekate tested her curses on extremists targeting civilians, then learned that Natasha’s luck had surged during the days Betty stayed with her. Star identified an uncertain Fate Rule: Natasha’s fortune greatly increased when her friends betrayed her.

  • Hekate read reports about Sha Pojun, Sima Lian, and Ye Wuming planning massacres, and decided to test her curses on them.
  • Hekate’s Fire Curse tortured Sha Pojun until a phantom Angel killed him, but the flames could not burn him to death.
  • Hekate killed Sima Lian and Ye Wuming with Angel’s Judgment, then used the same magic against other extremists who emerged over the following half month.
  • Natasha and Furia returned from their missions, and Furia said Natasha’s luck had made their adventures feel like tourism.
  • Natasha told Hekate that she had found treasures worth over one million Gold Pounds in three days, and Hekate realized the dates matched Betty’s visit.
  • Star informed Hekate that Natasha’s fortune rose when her friends betrayed her, leaving Hekate confused because Betty had only stayed to sleep.

  • Hekate let Aberla Felimon leave, then took Natasha on a mission and advised her to wait until reaching High Mage before adventuring again.

Ch. 87Heart of Ice and Snow

Hekate visited Elisa, gave her a comprehension-enhancing ring, and received Heart of Ice and Snow crystals to help friends with Magic Outbursts. She gave the crystals to Natasha, Betty, and Puli, then left Natasha to finish her mission on her own.

  • Kino Mage dramatically offered to serve Elisa, and she ordered him to leave before he could continue rambling.
  • Hekate gave Elisa a Rare-Tier Silver Moon Spirit Ring and asked for help with a friend's Magic Outburst.
  • Elisa gave Hekate four Heart of Ice and Snow crystals and explained that Magic Concentration and a developed Divine Spark were key to reaching Creation Mage.
  • Hekate found Natasha and gave her a Heart of Ice and Snow, but Natasha chose to continue her mission without Hekate's help.
  • Hekate gave Heart of Ice and Snow crystals to Betty and Puli so they could cultivate faster.

Ch. 88Magical Beast Unrest

Sea Beasts and awakened Magical Beasts threw several regions into turmoil, while Hekate intervened to protect the Eldor Kingdom’s resistance from the Edel Royal Family. The Silbon Kingdom’s defenses collapsed, and Hekate learned that Furia’s presence kept Sea Beasts away from her home.

  • Skree saw Furia gathering seafood on the Ians Republic’s coast and wondered why Sea Beasts were not attacking there.
  • Crysta sensed the Eastern Primeval Forest growing more chaotic and ordered vanguard elves to find a new place to settle.
  • Hekate learned that the Edel Royal Family planned to attack the resistance while Chief Karl fought Magical Beasts at the border.
  • Hekate used the Hellfire Curse to kill the mages sent against the resistance, forcing the Edel Royal Family to abandon its plan.
  • Star told Hekate that Sea Beasts had breached the Silbon Kingdom’s defenses, and explained that Furia’s presence kept them away from Hekate’s region.

Ch. 89Star God of Magic

Hekate advanced to 7-star God of Magic as Magical Beast disasters toppled kingdoms and the Ians Republic absorbed Silbon as Anxin Island. After suppressing threats to the island, she learned that powerful Devil Mermaids were heading toward the continent and prepared to face them if they reached her territory.

  • Hekate raised her Magic Level to 7-star God of Magic through her daily draw, while the Eldor Kingdom fell and Karl established the Takuya Republic.
  • Betty told Hekate that the Ians Republic would accept the Old Silbon Kingdom, and Hekate reassured its mages by blasting Sea Beasts with lightning.

  • Countless Wraiths surged into Gelean's head, and he screamed in agony.

Ch. 91Flower Branch Love

Hekate finished killing Ge Lean, then responded to news of threats against Takuya and the deaths of the Flower Witch and Forest Witch. At the witches’ flower-filled resting place, their magic transformed into a mysterious weapon that Hekate received.

  • After waking, Ge Lean repented before the angel phantom and Wraiths, but his lifespan ran out and he died; his Devil Mermaid subordinates fled.
  • Hekate reflected on the forty-eight thousand years of lifespan she had drained from Ge Lean, then rejected a Gift of Fate that would reduce her height.

Ch. 92Two Loudspeakers

Hekate grafted the witch sisters Luria Vespera and Faria Vespera onto the Tree of Life, where they increased Magic Concentration. After learning the Norwich Kingdom planned to direct the Devil Mermaids into the Ians Republic, she ordered Star to destroy those responsible and monitor the mermaids, while the Takuya Republic sought diplomatic relations.

  • Hekate brought Flower Branch Love to the Astrology Tower, where Luria Vespera and Faria Vespera asked to be grafted onto the Tree of Life.
  • With Vitalis's help, Hekate grafted the sisters onto the Tree of Life, learned their names, and told them to stop speaking over each other.
  • The next day, Hekate discovered the sisters had increased Magic Concentration and rejected a daily gift that threatened to reduce her height.
  • Hekate learned the Norwich Kingdom planned to lure the Devil Mermaids into the Ians Republic, so she had Star kill the plotters and ordered Star to watch the mermaids' movements.

  • Morse helped with reconstruction on Anxin Island, and Teacher Dulu noted how much he had changed while Teacher Brown remained suspicious of him.
  • After receiving a message from his father, Morse returned to the Cardenas Kingdom and learned that the Mage Association wanted him to recruit Hekate for a Devil Hunting Operation against Devil Mermaids.
  • Morse told the Chairman that he had donated the magical books voluntarily, apologized for doing so without approval, and asked whether the kingdom could join the Ians Republic.
  • The Chairman sent Morse away and watched him fly back to Anxin Island, reflecting that his son needed to find his own path.

  • Hekate teleported to seven Takuya Republic border sites and killed the gathered Magical Beasts with Thunder Fire Tribulation, earning Chairman Karl’s gratitude.
  • Hekate heard that Echidna, a 4-star Archmage-level Succubus, was targeting Natasha and teleported into the Ruins to intervene.
  • Echidna’s Charm Spell failed against Natasha’s Eternal Seraphim Crown, so she tried Psychological Suggestion while Hell Beasts surrounded Natasha.
  • Hekate struck Echidna unconscious with Thunder Fire Tribulation, planted a Slave Contract in her mind, and cleared the weak Magical Beasts.
  • Natasha’s Fate Aura surged, and after another battle she defeated Echidna and advanced from 5-star High Mage to 8-star High Mage, leaving Hekate baffled by the result.

Ch. 96Little Succubus

Ch. 97Innate Orator Saint Body

Hekate brought Echidna and Gelina to the Astrology Tower, learned about Hell, and assigned Echidna to guard the Takuya Republic against Magical Beasts. After discovering Gelina’s passive gift for winning trust and drawing attention, Hekate decided to train her as an orator and spokesperson for the Ians Republic.

  • Hekate returned to the Astrology Tower with Echidna and Gelina, reassured Natasha, and asked Echidna to describe Hell’s powerful mages and regions.
  • Hekate asked Echidna to guard a place and help the Takuya Republic withstand the Magical Beast disaster, and Echidna agreed.

Ch. 98Curse of Misfortune

Hekate trained Gelina to speak with strength and planned to turn her into a revolutionary speaker, then learned the Curse of Misfortune and used it against nobles who had challenged Chairman Ornis.
