Arrested

This man had been riding a wave of notoriety lately. As a member of the O Group, everyone had heard of him, though none of them had expected the information to be analyzed so thoroughly in the records.

After the meeting ended, the sinister man immediately brought two others to Star Brilliance Nightclub. Wang Xuan had just finished eating when he was startled to hear from one of his men that the police had come looking for him.

The sinister man wasn't in a hurry. He followed the guide to the office on the top floor, then entered and fixed Wang Xuan with a cold smile. "You're Wang Xuan, right? We're with the O Group. We suspect you're connected to a murder case. Come with us to assist with the investigation!"

A murder case? Wang Xuan's heart trembled, but he kept his face as calm as possible and said word by word, "Please show me your police identification."

Wang Xuan stumbled before managing to steady himself. He whipped around and glared at Cao Hong. "With that attitude, I can sue you. Don't make yourself look even less civilized than a gangster!"

Cao Hong sneered, his tone filled with malice. "Fine, keep acting tough. Let's see if you can still act tough once you're at the station!"

Sure enough, after they arrived at the police station, Wang Xuan was sent straight into the interrogation room. Before digital storage technology had developed significantly, surveillance recordings simply weren't used by police departments.

Cao Hong gave the two officers beside him a meaningful look. One went outside to stand guard by the door, while the other pulled a large plastic bag from the desk drawer and walked toward Wang Xuan with a savage grin. "Let's see how tough that mouth of yours is!"

"Fine. Let's see if you can still keep that tough attitude in a moment!" After saying this viciously, he went behind Wang Xuan and suddenly pulled the plastic bag over his head.
