Phew. It was finally finished.

Writing Douluo fanfiction was genuinely torture. Plot holes caused by conflicts between earlier and later events, broken logic, bizarre characters, absurd ethical relationships, inconsistent settings, even the original work constantly contradicting itself within the same book—I'm fucking—

It was truly torturous.

How many brain cells did it kill just to patch up all those bug-ridden, conflict-filled settings of Tang San's?

It was like taking over a ship that looked luxurious on the outside but had completely rotted away within, then barely managing to patch it together enough to keep it moving forward.

So. I already couldn't wait to write something original.

I didn't want to be some king of living off one book until I died!

I yearned for a breakthrough!

Even if my next book flopped, I didn't want to be some worthless hack living off past achievements!

Only by stepping out of your comfort zone could you improve!

Barring any surprises, my next book would lean toward comedy and imaginative ideas. It would probably meet you all around late November or early December, so don't forget to come support it then.
