Chapter Summaries

Kishinami Hakuno arrived in Fuyuki City with Shiro Amakusa, took Kirei Kotomine’s Command Seals, and set out to summon her other half. She and Shiro headed to the Matou residence to rescue a highly compatible girl, where Shiro sensed that a pure soul was in danger.

• Kishinami Hakuno and Shiro Amakusa arrived in Fuyuki City, where Kirei Risei and Kirei Kotomine greeted them.
• Kishinami asked for Kirei Kotomine’s Command Seals, and Kirei Risei agreed to transfer them to her.
• Kirei Risei told Kirei Kotomine that protecting Fuyuki and obeying the Church mattered more than his agreement with Tohsaka Tokiomi.
• Kishinami explained that she needed a highly compatible girl to summon her other half and asked Shiro to help rescue the girl from a magus’s home.
• Shiro and Kishinami went to the Matou residence, where Shiro sensed a corrupt presence threatening a pure soul and entered the mansion.

Shirou Amakusa rescued Matou Sakura from Zouken Matou and destroyed him, while Kishinami Hakuno summoned Kama as a vessel for the Beast of Lust. Roy found Scathach in the Shadow Land, where she welcomed him and he carried her in his arms.

Roy left the Shadow Land after promising Scathach he would reach the Demon God’s path and show her the way forward. In Fuyuki City, he arrived as Kishinami Hakuno transferred Kama’s Command Seals to him, then asked the God of Love to give him her love.

• Roy and Scathach embraced and spoke about her loneliness, her desire for a worthy companion, and Roy’s determination to become strong enough to lead her toward a higher view.
• Roy and Scathach fought for nearly seven days and nights before Roy used techniques to restore his stamina and managed to hold out against her.
• Roy opened a passage from the Shadow Land to the inner world and returned, while Scathach watched him leave and hoped he would become a true god before their next meeting.
• In Fuyuki City, Kama explained that she had descended through a vessel from a parallel world and warned Kishinami Hakuno that establishing their contract required love.

Roy punished Kelsnic for shooting at Kirei Risei, and Kama drove Kelsnic to suicide by turning his love for Sola into torment. Roy then declared his intent to end the Holy Grail War, while Gilgamesh spared Waver before Roy and Kama arrived on Fuyuki Bridge.

• Roy saved Kirei Risei from Kelsnic’s bullet and made Kelsnic sign an agreement surrendering nearly eighty percent of the El-Melloi School’s assets to the Church.

Roy realized he had to reach the abyss by following the Correct Path before confronting Human Evil, and that Laura Stuart could guide him there. After Roy ended Kama’s Beast transformation and hit her for provoking him, she broke down crying, leaving him awkwardly comforting her.

• Roy concluded that the Moon World’s Beasts blocked humanity from reaching the abyss, while demons could guide someone ready to ascend into it.
• Roy recognized Laura Stuart’s true nature as a hornless female demon and understood that he needed to return to the A Certain Magical Index World to find her.
