Roy explained his plan to make Ritsuka bear the world’s original sin and become the Son of God for his Demon God ritual, which would complete with him becoming the Trinitarian Christ the Savior.

Ritsuka met Roy in the afterlife, and he resurrected her after she chose Mashu to live in her place. Back on the bleached earth, Ritsuka and Mashu reunited with Roman and Sajyou Ayaka, but learned that nearly all of Chaldea had perished in the Lostbelt.

  • Ritsuka found herself dead in a world of absolute darkness and spoke with Roy, who explained that he could resurrect only one person from Chaldea.

Chaldea learned from Lancelot that the Lostbelt diverged in AD 500, when King Arthur survived Camlann and became the King of Lions. Meanwhile, Roy met First Hassan at the Temple of Jibril and persuaded him not to attack, leaving him to recognize the coming judgment as a matter of faith.

  • Lancelot welcomed Chaldea and explained that the current year was AD 1311 and that the King of Lions was the Arthur who had survived for eight hundred years.
  • Roman explained that the date difference made the region both a Singularity and a Lostbelt.

Chaldea learned how the Lion King had destroyed human civilization and reached Constantinople, where King Arthur protected the last survivors. As they met Bedivere, Ritsuka and Ayaka sensed a ghostly girl, and Ayaka recognized a frightening presence tied to her past.

  • Roy persuaded Hassan as-Sabbah to remain secluded in his temple and keep clear of the Lostbelt’s affairs.
  • Lancelot told Chaldea that the Lion King had slaughtered most of humanity, while King Arthur resisted her to protect the remaining survivors.

Ch. 641The Sajou Sisters / Ritsuka? Mom?

Sajyou Ayaka and Chaldea met Artoria and the Knights of the Round Table in Constantinople, then settled in for the night. Aika appeared in Ayaka’s room and, after briefly seeming affectionate, accused her sister of failing to love her and asked why she had come to oppose her again.

  • Artoria welcomed Chaldea and Arthur, and the Knights of the Round Table teased Merlin, Lancelot, and Kay during their first meeting.
  • Artoria arranged lodging and a meal for Chaldea, and Sajyou Ayaka returned to her room to rest after their long journey.
