Sea God Douluo Posey led Little Jiu to the Sea Horse Sacred Pillar.
The Sea Horse Sacred Pillar stood at the center of a five-hundred-meter-wide pool. It was a triangular platform with a strange stone pillar rising from it, shaped like a sharp cone and over twenty meters tall. At its very top was a special sculpture.
Countless intricate patterns were engraved across the pillar's surface, seemingly divine runes. Invisible yet strange energy radiated from the unusual pillar.
"This pool is called the Sea within the Sea. You must cross it yourself and stand on the triangular platform before you can undergo the Sea God's trial!"
Sea God Douluo Posey explained, "The pool contains the Sea God's divine power. It will stir up raging waves, so it also serves as a test."
Little Jiu chuckled and stepped forward. Seahorse Douluo curled his lip. "Everyone else has to summon their Spirit and barely make it across with its help. Why is this kid acting so arrogantly? He'll definitely get dragged to the bottom of the pool!"
But before he could finish, his mouth fell open. Little Jiu walked across the water, ice blossoms forming beneath his feet one after another. Even as he entered the churning, wave-tossed pool, he moved as if walking on solid ground.
"How is that possible?" Seahorse Douluo stared in shock.
"You wouldn't understand the world of geniuses!" Little Jiu looked back at Seahorse Douluo from on high. That contemptuous, dismissive look reminded Seahorse Douluo of what the Titan Giant Ape had once said: I'm the father you can't afford to provoke!
The looks in those two bastards' eyes were simply too alike!
"Kid, there are still the waves. Don't get cocky!" Seahorse Douluo gritted his teeth.
