William walked down the street with both hands in his pockets, whistling. Every evil approaching him voluntarily moved aside, as if merely hearing the whistle caused the most primal fear to well up from the depths of its heart.

When he reached a café with outdoor seating, William casually took a seat and waved over a server.

"Two lattes, the usual~ Make sure the fresh milk comes from Milker Number Three."

William seemed to be a regular here. He sat back leisurely with one leg crossed over the other and picked up a copy of today's newspaper.

Two steaming cups of coffee, rich with the fragrance of milk, were brought over soon after.

By the time William took a sip and set down his coffee cup, the empty seat across from him had already been occupied by a Silver-haired Youth.

A twisted light flickered within those peculiar Moon Eyes, as if countless twisted monsters were about to be reflected into reality and tear the William before him in half.

"Have some coffee. It tastes great—the fresh milk was just squeezed, and it's paired with freshly picked beans! I've basically come here every day for the past two years. It'd be such a waste not to open a chain of stores over in the human world."

William's composure ultimately kept Lorien from making a move.

"In just two years, you've opened up such a huge gap?"

"No... No... No! The gap opened when I became a Plague Lord. As far as the plague goes, I haven't changed all that much over the past two years. The only real changes are the accumulation of evil, the expansion of the students, and the accumulation of knowledge. Overall, my level has only risen by a small step.
