Creak~
The display cabinet opened.
The dazzling array of living specimens had been stored using various preservation methods, with some kept in separate compartments.
These specimens could be divided into four categories according to their effects.
1. They could be consumed to obtain temporary enhancements, like the fresh brain Hannibal had eaten before, which had comprehensively improved his perception.
2. After being stored for a long time, a few limbs and bones could be used as "weapons." This was something only Hannibal could use.
Once he held them, they could perfectly carry the title of Apex Predator and unleash a unique effect of contempt, destroying their targets with extreme malice.
3. Consumables. Some fresh body parts with abundant concepts could be sacrificed to repair conceptual injuries. These were also relatively common among the specimens.
4. Deep within the display cabinet were a very small number of "specimens" sealed in special containers. No one except Ruben had ever seen them.
Amid the ruins of the Giant Bell,
Hannibal's body trembled slightly. It was not because he had suffered some heavy injury, but because he was shaking with rage.
He had actually been forced onto the back foot in that exchange.
His head had been kicked on the crown and jaw, leaving his entire skull covered in cracks and completely distorting his handsome face. Even an aura of death had seeped into it, and he could still feel a butcher's knife scraping between the bones of his skull.
After sacrificing a human head from the display cabinet, Hannibal's own head finally recovered.
Suppressed.
For an Apex Predator, this was simply the greatest humiliation.
He no longer held anything back, wolfing down a string of supplementary specimens. As he ate, all the muscles in his body contracted and expanded, while veins surfaced beneath
