He had originally intended to follow the path of the Gestalt One—to reconstruct the human body according to his own ideas. However, during the actual process of modification, he discovered that the spine required very few changes, leaving an empty area available.

William then made a bold decision. Since two independent consciousnesses existed within his body, and Yi Chen was not as evil as he had imagined—in fact, they had even gradually begun communicating—

Why not create a "backup body" in the empty space on his back?

Whenever necessary, he could try to transfer Yi Chen's consciousness into this backup body and fight as a second self.

In an extremely dangerous situation where death seemed likely, he could even abandon his main body and escape using the backup body.

However, when creating the backup body, William made it entirely in the "opposite direction." Not only did he fail to refine it to perfection like the main body of the Gestalt One, polishing every part of it to unparalleled excellence,

It even contained a large number of "flaws."

Having no mouth was merely a superficial point.

Many of its bones and organs were incomplete.

Under normal circumstances, the "Second Body" could survive only by being wedged into the back groove and forming a symbiotic state with William's main body. Once separated on its own, it would have trouble even standing and would die within a short time.

William had created such an "opposite," "incomplete," and "antithetical" Second Body mainly because he had considered Yi Chen's characteristics.

In William's view, a genius like Yi Chen might not necessarily suit a perfect
