Death Resonance

Yi Chen observed the situation in the deepest part of Endless Prison, roughly reconstructing what had once happened there in his mind.

"The warden used some method to complete the execution, dividing the corpse into six pieces before sealing them with these special holy nails.

These spiral-patterned nails were purer than the rebar used against the Sick One in the 'void' region. They might even have been taken directly from the warden's body.

Sealed separately at the lowest level of the prison and combined with the suppression of the entire prison, they should theoretically have been impossible to break free from.

Unfortunately, no matter how much the warden had calculated, he could never have anticipated the invasion of death throughout Endless Prison. It had even become the territory of the dead."

Yi Chen stared at the skull pierced through the brow and nailed to the wall, trying to obtain some response and communicate with the Original Commander.

As the seconds ticked by, all he could see within the eye sockets was a hazy whiteness,

As though the Original Commander's consciousness had been completely sealed by the holy nail in his brow. To communicate, he would have to pull out the nail.

Yi Chen first walked up to the skull and bowed, without immediately trying to yank it out by force. He then sat in the central area and began delicate breathing exercises, using the airflow to gather and analyze the conditions here.

He eventually determined the "order" in which the Original Commander's body had been cut apart during the execution:

Right arm → left leg → left arm → right leg, and finally decapitation.
